CONSIGNMENT AGREEMENT

Introduction

This Consignment Agreement ("Agreement") governs the relationship between you ("Consignor") and doebou, LLC ("doebou," "we," "us," or "our") when you submit items for consignment. By submitting items through our platform, you agree to the terms below.

1. What This Agreement Covers

doebou accepts men's clothing, footwear, and accessories on consignment. You retain ownership of your items until they sell. When an item sells, we collect payment from the buyer, deduct our commission and any applicable fees, and pay you the remainder.

2. Eligibility

To consign with doebou, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Be the rightful owner of the items submitted
• Have the legal right to sell the items
• Provide accurate contact and payment information

3. Submission Process

Step 1 — Submit photos. Complete the consignment form on our website with photos and descriptions of your items.

Step 2 — We review. We confirm quality, authenticity, and fit with our brand. We set the listing price.

Step 3 — You ship. Once approved, we send you a prepaid shipping label. The cost of this label is deducted from your final payout.

Step 4 — We list. We photograph, describe, and list your items across our sales channels.

Step 5 — You get paid. When your item sells, we process your payout within 3 business days.

4. Commission Structure

You receive a tiered commission based on the final sale price:

Under $30 | 60%
$30.01 – $100 | 65%
$100.01 – $500 | 70%
$500.01+ | 75%

Net sale = Sale price less selling fees.

Example: If your item sells for $100, you receive 65% = $48.75. doebou keeps $26.25.

5. Listing Period

Items are listed for up to 120 days. If your item does not sell within 120 days, we will contact you to arrange a return.

Return shipping costs are the consignor's responsibility.

If you do not respond within 14 days of our return notice, we will hold your item for 30 additional days. After that, we may dispose of the item in accordance with applicable law.

Stains or odors
Tears or holes
Heavy pilling or fading
Missing buttons or broken zippers

6. Pricing and Markdowns

Pricing: We set the final listing price based on market research, condition, brand, and demand. You may suggest an asking price, but doebou has final say on pricing.

Markdowns: If an item does not sell within 60 days, we may reduce the price by 10–20% to encourage a sale. We will notify you before any markdown.

7. Payouts — When and How You Get Paid

When you get paid:
• Payouts are processed within 3 business days after your item sells and the buyer's return window closes (7 days after delivery).
• If the buyer returns the item, the sale is cancelled and no payout is issued.
• If the item is returned, it re-enters consignment for the remaining listing period.

How you get paid:
• PayPal — sent to the email on your account
• Venmo — sent to the phone number on your account
• Bank transfer (ACH) — sent to the account details you provide

What you receive:
• Your commission tier percentage of the final sale price
• Minus any applicable shipping label costs
• Minus any markdowns applied (if applicable)

Payment schedule:
• Payments are issued Monday through Friday
• Payments are not issued on weekends or federal holidays
• Allow 1–3 business days after processing for the payment to appear in your account

Taxes:
• You are responsible for reporting and paying taxes on your consignment earnings
• doebou will issue a Form 1099-K to consignors who exceed IRS reporting thresholds ($600 in gross payments)
• Provide your W-9 information when requested.

8. Condition and Authenticity

Your responsibilities:
• Items must be accurately described and photographed
• Items must be clean and in good to excellent condition
• Items must be authentic — no counterfeits or replicas
• Items must be free of stains, tears, odors, and damage

Our rights:
• We inspect every item upon arrival
• If an item does not match the photos or description, we may decline it
• If an item is declined, you may pay for return shipping or forfeit the item
• If an item is found to be counterfeit, we will not list it and may report it.

9. Shipping

Consignor to doebou:
• After approval, we send you a prepaid shipping label
• The cost of the label is deducted from your final payout
• You are responsible for packaging items securely
• doebou is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit

doebou to buyer:
• We ship all sold items via USPS, UPS, or FedEx
• Shipping costs are paid by the buyer or included in the listing price
• Risk of loss passes to the buyer upon delivery.

10. Returns

Buyer returns:
• Buyers may return items within 7 days of delivery if significantly not as described
• If a buyer returns an item, the sale is cancelled and no payout is issued
• The item re-enters consignment for the remaining listing period

Consignor returns:
• If your item does not sell within 120 days, we will contact you to arrange a return
• Return shipping costs are your responsibility
• If you do not respond within 14 days, we will hold your item for 30 additional days, then dispose of it in accordance with applicable law.

11. Damage or Loss

doebou is not responsible for:
• Items lost or damaged in shipping to us
• Items lost or damaged in shipping to the buyer
• Items lost or damaged due to circumstances beyond our control (fire, theft, natural disaster)

We recommend insuring all shipments.

12. Prohibited Items

We do not accept:
• Counterfeit or replica items
• Stolen goods
• Items with offensive or illegal imagery
• Damaged or heavily worn items
• Fast fashion or non-branded basics
• Underwear, swimwear, or intimate apparel
• Electronics, household goods, furniture, or toys

We reserve the right to refuse any item for any reason.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time by written notice. Upon termination:
• Any items currently listed will remain listed for the remainder of the 120-day period
• Any items not yet listed will be returned to you at your cost
• Any pending payouts will be processed within 7 business days.

14. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

15. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. When we do, we will:
• Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Post the revised Agreement on our Site
• Notify active consignors by email if the changes are significant

Your continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Agreement.
